is currently a PhD candidate in Critical Social Psychology at The Graduate Center (CUNY).

They are broadly interested in how our sense of self is played out through representational politics and negotiated within discourses of nationalism, transnationalism, and diasporas. Currently, they are working on projects that considers how these relationships are further mediated through the internet and online platforms, including in far-right spaces and K-pop and Boys Love (BL) fan communities.

Combining their interest with their role as a GCDI Digital Scholarship Center Fellow, they are also invested in conversations on critical data literacies and ethics, as well as possibilities for non-conventional academic publications.
